95.2

Fontainebleau

95.2 is a deservedly popular spot, tucked away in the Trois Pignons, that stands up well to the crowds that flock there on sunny days due to its spread-out nature across the tops of 3 hills.

One minor downside is its unfortunate combination of sand and popularity, meaning that some of the circuit problems are suffering from polish. (Try the slabs around Blue 21 for some fun slippery precariousness, and you'll never need reminding again to clean your feet before stepping onto the rock in Fontainebleau.) But most of the circuit problems are still in good form. Try as we may, it's hard to polish everything, and there are yellow, orange, blue, red and even hard white circuits to spread out the traffic.

For testpieces, girls somehow fit the compression of Indestructible 7a+ really well, leaving their tall male friends flailing. And small fingers can work their magic on the tiny crimps of Le Mur de la Fosse aux Ours 7a.

There are lots of hidden gems to be found here.
